Happy September...a little Halloween treat!!

Hello friends. This was suppose to be ready by Aug. 31 but Blogger has given me lots of problems for two nites now. Recently made the Halloween card and the image is from the UK Pink Petticoats. I love that company. Notice the Tim Holtz tiny stapler. Had to run out and buy it after my friend Donna let me use hers! I got it at Michael's with a 40% off coupon. What kills me is you get a tiny amount of staples with it!! Geez Tim could you spare it? The stapler retailed for 15.99. Expensive little bugger but oh so cool and no regrets. I hadn't been inside a Michael's for like two months. I was weak and caved!!

Back to the card...background paper (Basic Gray) and I swiss dotted the black paper. Happy Friday. Going to spend the day crafting with my friend Sherry at Archiver's.

Thanks for popping by the 'ole bloggie. Tami

My first Christmas card!!

Hello friends

How are you? I must admit because I am rusty at blogging I totally forgot to post my card today. The products I used are from Kaiser, Anchor Paper, Archivers, Cuttlebug, Sizzix, Quick Kuts, and The Pine City Scrapbooking Co. The card took me SO long to get it to my liking but I am pleased how it came out.

My friend Ruth Ann has the new Basic Grey embossing folders and man do I want a couple sets.....(Santa Baby)!!! They are a must have and she purchased them at Joann's. I have been dreaming about them ever since she showed me them. The folders match the Basic Grey papers. Totally cool beans. Me wants bad.

Another wicked HOT day with that yucky humidity. We are going to have the same weather tomorrow but a few degrees cooler. I can't wait until the heat passes and am looking forward to fall. How about you?

Hope you had a great Monday. Thanks for stopping by. Tami

A little birdie told me.........

Oh my goodness? I am going into shock myself because I'm back blogging!!! OMG!. Here's a card I recently made with my Cuttlebug (I dropped it yesterday at my front entrance -oops but it still works). Anyhow the card was an idea *I saw* while on a little road trip in Sioux Falls, SD this month. I just loved it and had to have it because I love to emboss paper. What do you think? Pretty cool hah. Why not give it a try with an embossing folder and a few stamps. The inside is really *butter* too it says treasure life. The designer paper is from K and Co. and was purchased at Michael's (8 x 8" pad).

The stamp set is from Close to My Heart and my BFF let me borrow her brand new set. Thanks Wendy. I will be back tomorrow with another card. Yes read my lips. I hope your Sunday has been sunshiney and relaxing. Its a beautiful windy day in MN with a nice HOT breeze. I appreciate you stopping by today very much. Tami

Another Class Sample...Basic Grey!!

Here is another card we will be making on Thursday at my class at Smudges. Who's coming??? It starts at 10:30 am and there will be five cards for this class!!

I am signed up for two Crop Around Towns in Sept. (Archiver's Scrapfest) and I'm pretty stoked. I planned and hoped for Cosmo Cricket but then I was able to secure Basic Grey. I am happy as a clam. It took two hours this morning beginning at 7 to get through the phone lines to two Archiver's stores. I can not wait until Sept. Life is good!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. Tami

Here's my card as promised right before the stroke of midnite!!

Hello dear friends. Got a little busy this evening cleaning like a mad woman, more laundry, scrubbing, purging old clothes, and washing windows. Then I ran out for a Starbucks and a few groceries (diet coke only $1.25 a 12 pack)!! Then for some strange reason I decided to go to the fireworks at 10 pm in Plymouth. I missed the MN Symphany again this year but maybe next year?? I know I'm crazy. I have to get back to work now. I have just one day left to finish a whole bunch of things including my weekly Friday guest blog on the Memory Box blog and I have to color my hair all before Friday morning. Bye bye roots!! (I hate dying my hair more than anything in my white bathroom). I can't wait to get out of town on Friday and have a little fun with a couple of my friends. Anyway have a great Thursday chickadees. I will try and post another card tomorrow. Do you think I can do it seven days in a row??? Hmmmm....not sure but I will certainly try. Wishing you a very happy and relaxing holiday weekend for those of you in the US!! Please be safe. The crazies are already out I tell you. I will pray really hard that people don't drink and drive especially this holiday weekend. Thanks for checking out my blog. If you leave me a comment, thanks in advance. I think most of you know by now I really enjoy a little blog love!! Is your birthday in July? I have an extra birthday card I could part with!! Any takers??? Hey this card looks much better in real life. I recently taught it in a COPIC class and I colored the white Cuttlebugged paper with lime green and then blue ink. I love doing this!! It really is a cute card if only you could see it in person. I used Stickles, clear glaze pen, clear and lemon Spica glitter pen, Denami shreds, and blue staples. My card didn't scan too well as its lumpy. I tried to tweek it but I'm not a good tweeker!! I need some formal *tweeking training*. LOL!!! I hope this note finds you well. Take care now and nightie night. Sorry no weather report today. Oh I did buy one more pack of outside plants tonight. Got more planting to do on Thursday. 50% off!! Got to love a good deal!! I stayed out of Michaels!! Tami : )

Another butterfly card!

This card is so pretty in real life. I recently taught it as a sympathy card or thinking of you. The background paper is by Melissa Francis and was purchased at Smudges. I used Memory Box canary pearls or 14-karat pearls on the Martha Stewart butterflies (which I also Cuttlebugged). I love this soft pastel card and the cardstock is Peach and mint Stardream from Anchor Paper. I also used Neenah Natural White linen. I put on a single knot pale cream ribbon on the left side with a glue dot. Thanks for stopping by. I wish the picture of this card was better. Happy long weekend for those of you in the US!! I'll be stamping all day Sat. for my Sunday Graphic 45 class. Tami

Cupcakes galore!!

My sister mailed me this beautiful card. It is a cuttlebugged background sitting on top of a lilac Memory Box note card. I have never seen anything like this done before. She totally rocks with her colored pencils. Have a great day. Tami...Stamp is by Taylored Expressions

Tami goes tiny!!

This is my last post for the evening. The third one gave me trouble so I will stop here before I get angry with Bloggie again. Notice the tiny red heart button we threaded in class on Wed. at Smudges? The background paper is from Daisy Ds. Sadly they are now out of business. I feel so bad about that as I really loved their papers. I Cuttlebugged two of the strips and used creamy brown chalk ink to distress the strips. Donna if you are reading this post? (No sanding on this baby). I think I used two other brown inks on the card. I am very pleased how it turned out. Its a really cute card if you could only see it in person. Good nite my friends. This is enough blogging for one day. Have a terrific Friday. Thanks for stopping by today hopefully someone did!! Smile because there's a monkey on your back complete with bananas!! Life is good today and the monkey is out of her cage but bananaless. Hee he. Enough funny monkey talk. Smooches! Tami

Hey cupcake, are you out there??

Please excuse me if I already posted this card awhile back but I ran across the file tonight and I started to chuckle. This card was suppose to be for a friend but on the way to meet her for coffee one Sunday am I dropped it in my driveway. It got wet from the snow and ice and I ran over it twice. When I went to give it to her I couldn't find it and it was unbelievable. Anyway better late than never right? It was made on a Savvy notecard and I love their notecards. I hope to post a couple cards on Thursday from my classes last week. We are suppose to get a big snow storm so they say so I will be stamping all day. I may go to the POST OFFICE very early if I can get my packages ready for shipment. The PO is my home away from home. Take care now and so much for spring. Well it is MN after all and only still February. I'd like to thank all the lovely ladies that attended my class last Sat. in Little Canada. We always have fun at Caribou!! Stay warm. Tami :')

Valentine Make & Take at Smudges Feb. 14

Here's my card for Saturday as promised. I designed it from the piece of May Arts ribbon I got at Smudges. I wanted to stamp you make my heart sing but I couldn't find that particular stamp. Imagine that? I'm so NOT one of those *perfect stampers* you read about that shares her photos of her perfect craft room outfited by Pottery Barn or whatnot. Ok, I'll admit it I'm being a little naughty and maybe just a tad bit jealous!! I can if I want to!! Anyhow, please stop by if you dare on Sat. around noon time or so at Smudges of course and bring me a little LOVE because I certainly need it!! I'd LOVE to see you...my friends in MN! Again, Happy Valentine's Day!! Tami...the SASSY stamper!!! Lots of love sent your way.

Happy Valentine's Day my little love muffins!!

Good evening my friends. I thought I had posted this card earlier but obviously it did not work. I wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. I will be doing my first Make and Take at Smudges on Saturday. Please stop by if you can and spread a little love. I'd love to see you!! I am very pleased at how my card came out for Smudges. The free Make and Take is from 12-3 pm (3 meaning it ends at that hour).
This card was made with Taylor's new Valentine cupcake stamps. I love them so much. I sanded the pink paper after I Cuttlebugged it with the heart folder. The ribbon is from Archiver's. I also Cuttlebugged the little heart on the right with the Swiss dots folder and then I flipped it over and stamped the little hearts. The arrow is a Quick Kuts which I glitted up with a paintbrush and white stickles. I have to sign off now as Ugly Betty is on and I love that show. Tami BIG smooches!!!

Today is Leslie's birthday so a big shout out to the birthday gal! Thanks to all that attended my recent classes. You ladies totally ROCK!! Its so good to be back in the saddle again!! I will be teaching two classes next Wednesday at Smudges. I believe one starts at 1 pm and I will offer the same class at 6 pm. This is one of the cards. Big news for Sat. Feb. 14 so stay tuned.

Sandy, HT and Candy!!!....Hi friends

This card is posted for three very special friends. Warm wishes ladies. It was meant to go with my last post. The file was corrupt so it wouldn't upload properly. I finally got it to work so I'm happy for now. I try what can I say. I do have another one all set for my next post. I say woo hoo on that one!! Please excuse my poor crop job. I am still learning or should I say I'm a bit rusty! You know, its a case of the "rusty pickle snydrome" (just a little private joke from Sunday's class). The pretty background paper is from Rusty Pickle company. On that note its back to more late night stamping for 'ole woodey girl!! Thanks for visiting my blog. Tami :-)

Brrrr!!!!!....and only in Minnesota...

...can a person store ice cream overnite in your trunk inside of one's garage!! The DQ shop wasn't too busy this evening!!! Gee I wonder why? Right now its 1 degree and that's above zero. Tomorrow is my first class of 2009 at Smudges and we have a few birthdays to celebrate after class. Shhhh...its suppose to be a secret!!

Ok...I must cut to the chase as I have to finish up a few cards and get my beauty rest!! Here's a card I taught on Superbowl Sunday and I must say I'm loving it!! The stamps are from My Favorite Things and this stamp just spoke to me. It is available at Smudges. Sorry to say so but I love how it all just fell into place rather easily. I love when that happens!! I did use white frosted lace stickles on the Cuttle Bugged snowflake set and an antique button. I hope you likey. I better go now and get back to work. Happy Day and please leave me some blog love so I know I still have at least a handful of readers. I never thought the day would come that I beg for a little love. Adios amigas! Warm hugs!! Tami Whami....PS. Thanks Mary for helping me make my cards sparkle and shine. You totally rock girlfriend. I will be back with another card on Thurs. morning. I have a really busy day on Wednesday. Ciao!!

PS...Yippy skippy...Let's start out things with a bang. Blogger won't let me post pictures so here we go again. I will post this and try again for the card photo. Geez I tell you its always something. Night night. Thanks for stopping by. Tami

Christmas with the Cuttlebug!!

I'm beyond excited. Two for two on the posts with Blogger! This is a card I recently taught at Smudges and trust me it is so pretty if you could see it in real life. The white is really a beautiful pale gold. I do plan to repeat the Christmas card class I recently taught at Smudges as everyone really enjoyed the cards. I just love using my Cuttlebug machine and I really like embossing with it. I'm getting ready to drop off some stamps to sell at Scrapbooks Too for a sale this weekend. The store is located in Bloomingon, Mn and the sale starts on Friday nite (a special paid event) and continues thru Monday (Monday is half price day). We are allowed to sell 60 things so that's what I'm planing to do. You get store credit and it cost $10 I believe to sell your stamps. I say out with the old and in with Taylor's cupcake stamps. I want them so bad! Have a great day my friends and thanks for stopping by. Thanks for all the emails. It really means a lot to me. Life goes on!!! Peace Tami : )

A WARM Hello from MN!!

Happy Fall. My gosh I can't believe its already November. Soon it'll be Thanksgiving and then Christmas. I had a great class on Saturday at Smudges. I met some wonderful new ladies in my class and we had a lot of fun. I saw Mary Kay again and she had an adorable make and take card after my class ended. Our fall weather has just been so nice these past few days. Its going to be 73 degrees on Monday. This is just unbelievable weather especially in MN but I will take it and enjoy every minute of it!!

Back to Smudges, I did manage to buy a few little treats for myself after my class. I know I am bad but I just had to feed my stamping addiction and pay off my *layaway items* (he he). I *needed* these items for my future stamping classes at Smudges! I purchased some awesome Bazzill embossed dot paper, a few Cuttlebug folders and the new Cuttlebug ornament die/embossing set, Gamasol and blending stumps, stamps (imagine that) and I'm not sure what else was in the bag. Oh I just remembered I got some beautiful new background paper by Basic Grey and a few other sheets of gorgeous paper. I really hate to admit this but I wanted more things such as Magnolia, My Favorite Things, and Lockhart stamps but I just had to stop at what I was getting and be thankful. I'm a pretty fast and impulsive shopper! I can do some serious damage in less than five minutes. Just ask my friend Wendy. The good news is I haven't been to Michael's in like a week or so.

News flash...I will be teaching a Christmas Card Class on Friday, Nov. 7 at Smudges using stamps from assorted companies, Copics, Spica glitter pens, and my stash of Cuttlebug products. The class starts at 11 am. Please come if you'd like to get a jump start on your holiday cards and have a stamping good time. I may offer this same class in the evening so stay tuned as I need to figure out my class schedule for Nov. Smudges is really great about emailing weekly and I like that so kudos Leslie. You GO GIRL!

I've *fallen back* and certainly enjoyed the extra hour of sleep on Sunday! I have a busy week coming up with orders, class samples, kit making (oh joy), phone calls, cleaning my deck and garage on Monday, laundry, housework, bills (yuck), voting for sure on Tuesday, and finally the long awaited haircut on Thursday.

Lastly, I do offer my classes "to go" for those of you that can not attend. Email me if you are interested. It's a sweet deal and I've been doing this for several years now! Have a super duper t week. Thanks for stopping by my little 'ole bloggie. I'm still dreaming about getting some of Taylor's new cupcake stamps. They are without a doubt the best cupcake stamps I've ever seen!! Peace my friends. Tami :)

Edited on Monday. I can NOT for the life of me upload any of my cards. I just don't get it? I've tried posting three cards recently and Blogger gives me nothing but problems. I've spent so much time trying to upload and its so frustrating when it says DONE and nothing is there. I just want to scream and pull my hair out. Maybe it will work later on this week so sorry no cards.

Best Witches!

Here's my card from yesterday. Susan thanks for reminding me as I probably would have forgot to try and upload it tonight. I am not kidding when I say I tried over 30 times to upload this baby. Does anyone else have issues with Blogger or is it just me? I will be super busy on Friday as now I have two different classes on Saturday in Pine City, MN. I have to drive 2.5 hrs. prior to my first class which starts at 10 am on Saturday. Yikes. Please pray for me and my old car that we have safe travels. I still have openings in both classes if you want to come up to this beautiful store but you must email me!! This lovely store is simply unbelievable and total eye candy!! I can hardly wait to get there. Its plump full of beautiful papers, ribbons, and lots of other items. I have a huge wish list. Marni really has an eye for ordering such beautiful things and a flair for decorating. Her work is breathtaking too. The store is loaded with lots of samples. Plus, this is going to be the peak weekend for fall foilage. I'm game. This store I am teaching at is relatively new The Pine City Scrapbooking Co. and you can stay overnite or your group for crafting, cropping, stamping or quilting. I may just stay overnite on Saturday just because. I think I will pack my teddy bear and pillow just in case? Again, you must contact me or call me on Friday if you want to attend either of these classes both of which will use A Muse stamps. I had booked them long ago. That's all for now. I tivoed Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy so I have to watch Ugly Betty now. Have a great weekend. If I have time tomorrow nite I will post the birthday card I mailed off to California today for a special friend.

I ran a lot of errands today and I finally used up a gift card I had been saving for a long time. I got some lovely stamping supplies for my Fifth Annual Halloween party on Oct. 18 in Moundsview. I have seven or eight signups so far. We always have a spooktacular party. I will be selling off some stamps I no longer want and other supplies prior to the party. So come if you dare. I have to go now and make a phone call so I can't proofread this post. So sorry. Tami

My laptop is finally fixed all you witches!!

Hello my friends-

I just finished teaching 5 awesome classes in a little over a week! Whew...what a whirlwind but it was lots of fun!! Thanks to all my fabulous students and friends that attended my recent classes. I met some new stampers in my classes which is always exciting. I love people and teaching is really my thing!! There are hardly any of us left in this area anyway. I say goodbye to the meanies!!

My car is fixed (BIG ouch on the bill) and my laptop is finally back however I still need a new battery real soon. I was able to hook it up Sunday evening after I unpacked from my trip. It works great so far thank the good Lord. It was down for about a month and its hard to run your business without a computer. I will be very busy this week getting ready for more classes, processing a couple orders, and making lots of ATCs. Plus there is always bills, bills and more bills. Yuck-a-do! I have lots of new designs to share with you from my recent classes. I had an awesome weekend with my best friend Wendy and all my other great friends up on Grave Lake. The drive was so pretty on the way to Brainerd on Friday but it rained all day Sunday. We finally managed to do a little antiquing in Crosby, MN. And, we scored!! I love the hunt! I get a high from it. Again, thanks so much to everyone who took my classes. I appreciate your business and friendship as always. You ladies ROCK. I did get some new things this weekend at Create-A-Card Studio and I had two great classes at Smudges on Wednesday. I can't stop Cuttle-bugging!! Thanks Smudges. I will be working on booking more classes this week. Take care now. I will pray for peace. Tami

Here is a card I sent off to a friend. I cuttlebugged some K and Company 12 x 12 Halloween paper and made it into a Halloween card. I think most of you know I love stickles, colored staples, glitter pens, and ribbon. I'm having my fifth annual Halloween party in Moundsview on Sat. Oct. 18 at 4 pm and I'm teaching a class at Smudges on Sat. morning Nov. 1 "Fabulous Foursome." I'm working on adding a few more classes now. Have a good rest of the week. Tami
