Wild about you!

Here's an old card I taught but I like it a lot. Images by A Muse. I don't feel chatty tonight so I'm going to cut it short plus I'm not feeling well. Life is full of unpleasant surprises. Tomorrow will be a new day and it's going to be nice weather. I'll be making class kits all day. I just added a new card class yesterday. It will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 1 pm called "Mixed Bag." I still have openings so email me if you'd like to attend. My A Muse A Palooza class schedule is now up on the A Muse AP blog under my name. Email me with any questions. I'm taking a card class on Sunday with my good friend Carolyn so I'm looking forward to a trip to Archiver's. Have a nice weekend friends. Tami :-(

Dear 'ole Dad!

Hello. I met a new friend on Wednesday at the General Store in Minnetonka, MN (shoppers paradise) and I had to peak around a bit before I hit the road for Eden Prairie. I love to look at cards and I always manage to find one I must buy. This card had my Dad's name written all over it! He is always working on something around the house or outside when he's not at the golf course. Inside it says: You are my Mr. Fix-It even when nothing is broken....Happy Father's Day. Anyway I loved it so I bought it for my Dad. He lives in NH and is a super cool dad. I love and miss him very much. I also sent my dad a hand-made card I copied from Emily "Scoopy." I did scan the card before I mailed it out. I will try and post it soon. I have to get to bed now as I have another busy day tomorrow. I have so many classes coming up. I will be back hopefully with a card in a couple of days. Hugs. Tami : D

Edited Thursday night. I tried to upload this post last night about seven times and no luck. I was gone all day on Thursday.

Flowers for you!

Hey everyone. I made it through a rather busy week. I have a few funny stories but I'm too tired to type. I just wanted to post the card I brought to our shoebox swap at Artsy Tartsy last week. I saw this card awhile back at the store and wanted to copy it so bad. It is really pretty. I'm not sure which A Muse designer made it but its one of those fine ladies. Have a great week everyone. I have tons of cards to share now on my blog. I just have to scan them. I used Copics and Spica glitter pens on this card. I still give my Tombows some love every now and then. Please check out my friend Meg's new blog. I just added her under COOL chicks on my blog. She really is one crafty little COOL chick Miss Megan Lea. We had a blast in all my classes this week but especially the Sunday class at Artsy Tartsy in Savage, MN. I have the MOST AWESOME students/friends. I am so blessed to have them in my life and for all their support. I spoke to *Ellie* (MOM) tonight and I had to be oh so careful not to slip and say the wrong thing. In between all the "kitting/class prep" process I managed to squeeze in *a little shopping.* Not a good situation! Oh I could go on and on about the last 10 days of my life but I must get some shut eye as I am so beat. I will be back in a few days with another little treat. Tami : )

Super busy but its a GOOD THING!!

HELLO! I'm still alive but just really busy. Here is a card from a class I recently taught at Artsy Tartsy in Savage, MN. I absolutely love the Classic Window A Muse Stamp. The store just received a HUGE A Muse order on Tuesday so if you need anything you better get to Artsy Tartsy real soon! I taught another fun stamping class there on Tuesday evening and we had a blast!! Have a great week everyone. I will be back next Monday nite as I have two more classes this week and a shoebox/ATC gathering. I did not go to the Edina Art Fair last weekend. Email me if you have any questions. Stamps, paper, rhinestone on flower center and ribbon are from A Muse. I colored with Copics and used assorted Spica glitter pens. Tami :D
"Baby Bloggie" turned 1 month old on Monday. She's growing like a weed and all tuckered out from the busy weekend. Her Mother made her go to two Michael's on Sunday and then grocery shopping in the heat no less!! OK call me crazy! I hope you like this card. Its looks a lot better if you could see it up close and personal!! Peace.

Happy Birthday Emily "Scoopy" CHEERS!!

Hello everyone. I hope you've all had a great week. Here's my card as promised. I mailed it off to a special friend on Tuesday. I'm still super busy which is a good thing! Please note all my new JUNE classes! I can't believe its already June 1st come Sunday. WOW, time just flies by! If you are local please consider taking one of my new A Muse stamping classes. We always have lots of fun making five cards in most of my classes! I will also be offering my classes "to go" if time permits. Please email me if you are interested. I'm really excited for the next two months....lots of classes in place, a few orders to process, more summer time class planning, and two "road trips" with my gal pals are on the calendar!! WOO HOO!! And, today I will be finalizing all my upcoming events for A Muse A*Palooza week in July. Then there's housework and laundry yuck. Absolutely NO time for any shopping (that was yesterday...I *needed* a Bella stamp for my niece's high school graduation on June 14 and one little cutie pie enjoy stamp so sweet). There is never an end to the madness! Ha ha!! Its only 60 degrees as I'm writing this note. Brrr! Where is the sun? We have only had one day over 80 so far this spring and that was last Sunday when it reached 84 degress. I'm not complaining as I prefer weather in the upper 70's unless you are at the lake, ocean, pool or have air conditioning in your home or car. I'd really love to attend the 42nd Edina Art Fair on Sunday but I'm not sure if I will be able to go? Anyone else local plan on going this weekend? The 400+ vendors really offer a lot of spectacular items to purchase so maybe its best I just stay home and keep working on my huge "to do" list. SMILE its Friday! Tami :D Have a sunfastic weekend. It will reach 80 again on Sunday. HOT STUFF!!

Thank you for being my friend!

Hello everyone. I had a great weekend. Its late but I wanted to get this post done as I have another busy week ahead of me. First of all, I'd like to thank all my friends....new, old, online, and especially my fabulous students. You ROCK! This card was made with Copic and Prismacolor markers. I *dyed* the white paper flower blue with my marker and I cut it to simulate the gerber daisy. I also used Spica and Sakura glitter pens. Actually I dropped my creamy brown chalk ink pad on my card after it was almost done and I got so angry. The paper flower is hiding the ink spot! Ribbon, note card and stamps are all from A Muse as well as the inside friend sentiment and a tiny daisy flower stamped twice in blue ink. I gave this card to my friend Sherry when we meet at Caribou for coffee. We show each other our work (cards and other projects) and then we usually pop into Michael's just *to browse* (right Sherry?) because we already own so much *stuff.* Gee what a surprise, another trip to Mike's! I was naughty and I'll admit it right here and now. I made three additonal stops after we separated but its best I do NOT go into details trust me. It was a great Memorial Day after all!! Very chilly weather in MN on Monday but it reached 84 on Sunday. I had an awesome A Muse card class on Sunday with my peeps at Artsy Tartsy. I will be back towards the end of the week as I have so much work ahead of me with some deadlines. I wish you all a great week filled with happiness and sunshine. Oh *Baby Bloggie* turned three weeks old on Memorial Day. Man she is growing like a weed. Tami : )

HOO loves you baby?

Just dropping by to say HI. I hope you all have a fun and relaxing weekend. I will be teaching on Sunday at Artsy Tartsy in Savage, MN. If you'd like to join us please email me now. Today was another beautiful day. The weekend forecast is for "in the 80's" both days. I'm not sure how *good* this card will look on the 'ole blog but I tried! I love these cute A Muse owls and small heart trio by A Muse. The note card and brown ribbon are also from A Muse. I edged the oval in creamy brown chalk ink and then ran my glitter pen around the edge. Oh the owl's bellies have white stickles that I spread around with a *cheap* paintbrush that I use just for this purpose. Be safe everyone and have a super Memorial Day weekend. I'm sure I will post more cards next week after my Sunday class. I have my July A Muse A*Palooza events all figured out for Artsy Tartsy. I'm so happy about that task being completed!!! Smooches Tami : )
