Happy Birthday *WICKED* Lindsay

Here's the card I sent to a sweet young gal in MA this week. I hope you had a great birthday Lindsay. Cheers!!

I still have lots of Amuse stamps for sale. Email me if you'd like to see what I have. Its time to unload more stamps!! I had a great time on Friday with my BFF Wendy and two of her sisters. She has a lot of them!! If you are looking for something fun to do in the next nine days why not take a road trip to the Pine City Scrapbooking Company in Pine City!!. Wendy and I dropped off some treasures to sell at the sale yesterday. Marni told us they had 33 sellers. I hope we both sell a lot at the sale so we can stay over at their attached Scrapbooking retreat in April. (crossing my finges). Its really an awesome store and I didn't get to look around too much as I was busy unloading and finishing up things for the sale. Garage sales are not my thing but really it wasn't that bad. Made just a tiny dent in my huge collection of rubber stamps!! I was only able to round up one box of Amuse stamps and a few skeins of fibers/yarns. Oh well it wasn't bad for starters. This will hopefully be the year to downsize. Have a great day and thanks for visiting. Tami

Happy Belated Birthday

Here's a Graphic 45 card I made for my good friend Jodi Bug. It was also a card I recently taught at Smudges. I haven't seen Jodi in ages but I will be visiting with her later today in Pine City!! I can't wait to pop into the Pine City Scrapbooking Shop with my BFF Wendy who is Jodi's big sister. The store is having their Annual Used Stamp and Scrapbooking Sale beginning this Saturday. There are 27 sellers. I believe the sale runs for one week? At this time I am only selling A Muse stamps at a deep discount. If there is anything you want I can pull it for you but you have to email me soon. OK back to today's card. I LOVE anything from Graphic 45 and I want the new 8 x 8 paper pads really bad available at Anchor Paper. I know I always want something new!! Its the story of my life. This time I am blaming Ruth Ann and Sherry. Yes its always someone else's fault. Again, I wish you all a very happy Friday and hope you have something special planned. It was a super busy week for me with the two classes and I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing evening cropping again on Saturday at Archiver's. Now that's only if all goes well with my 'ole car these next few days. It has to go visit the car Doctor and that makes its mama very very sad. Thanks for stopping by and please have some fun. I wish for NO more snow. We still have so much snow everywhere you look and lots of big huge icicles and ice patches everywhere. One has to walk like a duck for sure!! Oh I received my Girl Scout cookies on Thursday from Luanne. Thanks!! I ordered four boxes and we opened the Thin Mints after my class was over. Yumo. Sorry you missed out *Candy #1 and Candy #2*. Check this out *Candy* brought candy to class. How sweet is she? You know she is Candy #1 for sure!! Major brownie points with the teacher!! I am blogging again mostly for her!! We always have a blast at Smudges!! I also got to see Jack. He was pretty much the highlight of my day (a little man love)!! Jack is a beautiful standard poodle puppy and such a good boy. I love Jack so much and *want/need* him bad!! Sandy *Candy #2* if you are reading this I hope you and hubby are having a fabo vacation in sunny CA you lucky dogs. Safe travels my friend. We missed you lots on Thursday but have no fear because Tami is back on the Smudges stamping scene!! Ha Ha. Call me crazy but I love to have fun. Tami!!

Stamping Olympian Style

Hello friends. I know I've been a bad blogger however life has been really busy as of late which is both good and bad. I wanted to post this beautiful card I received from my sister. Don't you love it when you receive a card just because? I know I sure do. My sister is very talented and made the card with a soft pink Memory Box notecard, the stamp line is from NH, and she colored the pig skater with her new Staedtler colored pencils. Sami drew the background swirl (motion) and the stars. I must say this is my most favorite of her cards ever. We both love watching the Olympics and are huge fans of ice skating and skiing. I just happen to be watching skating right now. How about you? Do you enjoy watching the Olympics? I had two wonderful classes this week at Smudges. A big thanks to all that came. My next class is on Sunday, March 7 at Lunds (Plymouth). I'd love to have you join me. Having car troubles again and its not fun. Have a very nice weekend now and I will try and blog on Sunday evening as time permits. Thanks for stopping by and think spring friends. I am tired of winter. Tami

A card from my sweet sister Sami!!

My sister sent me this wicked cute card. She stamped the lizard, water colored it, and cut out Mr. Cross. She placed it on a heart embossed note card. She added four kinds of Martha Stewart stickers (inside too) and some Stickles. I love how it came out. It really is an adorable card if you could only see it up close and personal. The scan and auto enhance distorted all the colors. Sami sent me three cards last week and I enjoyed each and every one of them.

More snow today. What a surprise on that one. I have to clean off my car again tomorrow morning and I seriously need my roof raked again before it caves in or leaks. Yikes. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by friends. Tami

Also, are you looking for some HOT stamping deals? If so, please visit my friend Tracy's blog and let her know I sent you. I ordered a TE set myself (I know bad Tami) but I wanted to help out a sweet friend. Tracy, in lieu of commissions I'll take a Tracy card or an ATC. HA HA!! Tracy girl is an awesome stamper and just the sweetest girl ever. We have been online friends for like four years I think. Big waves my friend from the frozen Midwest to sunny Cali!!

Happy Valentine's Day my lovelies...

Cupid here just popping in to sprinkle the love. I hope you have a lovely day. Today's card is from the Make and Take held at Smudges yesterday. Do you likey my card?? I thought it came out pretty sweet with a little bling on the LOVE. It was a great day at Smudges and thanks to everyone that attended the Make and Take. I will be doing one each month on a Saturday at Smudges. Met lots of really nice women!! I was SO happy that everyone enjoyed making the card. The beautiful background papers are from Reminisse and Basic Grey. The stamps are from Memory Box and Lockhart. I really love all my Martha Stewart punches. I have a lot of them and constantly want more. How about you? Thanks for stopping by today and please spread the love. Happy Sunday. Lots of love from me to you. I will be doing housework and laundry. Sound exciting? NOT!! Its time to scrub a dub dub. Catch you later cutie pies. Cupid Tami

Another recent class sample

Here's a card I recently taught at two HOT spots...Lunds and Smudges. Hey Leslie girl and Trish (Jack's mama)...Happy Belated Birthday. You too can see this *lovely* on display at Smudges. The paper is from K and Company and the thrill of the paper other than its beauty is the hunt!! If you scored a pad (8 x 8) please leave me a comment. If you didn't find any feel free to leave me a comment too. I know not everyone needs it like me. So far I was able to get two. How about you?? I will be teaching the card at Smudges on Tuesday, February 23 at 6 pm. Be there or be square!! I hope by now you have realized and/or noticed I like to have fun on the 'ole bloggie. Its a wonder I even blog at all because I have so many issues with Blogger and me. Catch you later alligators. I can't wait to watch the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics tonight. I'd love to give a big shout out to the Candy girls, Eclair, HT and the fabo Trish and Leslie duo. It was so nice to finally meet Jack (Trish's dapper standard poodle). I wanted to take him home with me SO bad. It was a great Thursday afternoon with the girls and Jack at Smudges!! Thanks for stopping by my friends. Gosh you never know who's reading your blog but I don't have anything to hide so I hope you have enjoyed my silliness and a little stamping thrown in for good measure. Time for a little beauty rest. I wish you a fun filled lovely Valentine's Day on Saturday and a happy President's Day three day weekend. Do you have any special plans?? I do. Tami :)

Be Mine!!

Found a couple leftover kits so I made these up for two special peeps. Hope you likey. Nightie night. I know its late and yes I'm weary.

Boy oh boy!!

This one's for you Sherry Baby....finally!! I hope it was worth the wait. I really am not conceited for those of you that don't know me in person. I like to joke around and have fun with stamping and not get all caught up in copyrights. Hee hee. My card was hiding in my cropper hopper Sherry!! Whew. Recently while cruising Sherry's blog I stumbled upon a card she made for a card challenge so I decided to make a card inspired from her. What do you think? I love how it turned out and I even got a little grungy with it so I could make my friend Donna AKA Grunge Woman proud!! I love anything Cosmo Cricket and Tim Holtz distress inks. This card even sports one of my antique buttons straight from an antique shop. Button Junkie Sherry and Grunge Woman two are rubbing off on 'ole Woodey Girl but I bet you don't have a paper dust rag yet for when you get all grungy. No more paper dust for me. OK its rather late and I need some serious beauty rest. Oprah is on now and its creepy. I was on a lengthy long distance phone call this evening with one of my good friends in CO after I watched the Bachelor. I can not believe I sobbed during the show. Do you watch it and who do you want Jake to select as his wife? I am glad one person voluntarily left the show. Nightie night peeps. I'll be back with card number three. I had so many problems with Blogger today. I was ready to pull my hair out and scream. I had to delete the inside card scan from my previous post as it looked awful on the blog. I will add it this week as a post. It looks good in real life. TTYL Tami

Got snow??? Oh yah its still coming down!!

Hello friends-- Greetings from Minne-snow-ta. Yes more snow so what else is new!! How are you today? Good I hope. Saturday update first!! I got a haircut finally and then all hell broke loose once I left Fantastic Sam's. Target, Michael's and three other stops. I know bad bad bad Tami. I MUST and WILL try harder this week. My Superbowl class at Lunds yesterday was a huge success. We had the best time and I must say I was quite pleased with my designs however I did get inspiration from my friend Sherry on one of the cards (can't find it yet so hang tight Button Woman). Pat Pat on the 'ole back back!! It was SO great seeing my long time supporters so kudos girlfriends. Its just what I needed!! You are my sunshine. I am planning to teach one Sunday a month at Lunds (next class is March 7 so mark your calendars now). Its going to be a hoot of a good time and thanks Ruth Ann for the class suggestion. It will be titled Owl always love you -or- HOO loves you babe?? I am thinking about the fabo AMY T. in WA right now as she loves anything with owls. I know I'm such a tease but I love having a little fun every now and then!! You would not believe how awesome every one's cards came out yesterday. WOW such talented ladies. I love it when people do their own spin on my designs. Jan doubled up as the class photographer. She loves taking pictures but I do not like posing for them!! Can anyone relate?? I'm plan to post all my Superbowl Sunday (SO happy the Saints won) class samples this week so please check back. First up today is one of my favs from yesterday's class. The K and Company paper is from Michael's and its so elegant. I really want another pad but I must use up what I have first. The scan does not do the card justice but its better than nothing right friends?? I used Stampin' Up sentiments (one of my all time favorite sets) and the flourish (inside) is from Memory Box. Sorry it did not scan too well. The card base is Neenah Classic Crest Natural White which is the Cadillac of all paper.

Hey, any local peeps free on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 1 pm? If so we'd love to have you join us...."The Candies," Cheryl, and me at Smudges for my Good 'n Plenty card class. Helen if you are reading this I hope you will bless us with your presence. Its been awhile crocodile!! We are making a nice assortment of all occasion cards so come on out to Smudges. The more the merrier. On Saturday there will be a free Make and Take at Smudges with yours truly!! Please stop by and give me a little love on Valentine's weekend as you make a *lovely* free card. Make and Take runs from 12-3 and please bring your own adhesive. Smudges is always a stamping/shopping good time with lots of good laughs, a great staff, fabo customers, friends, and instructors. I better get back to work and I still have to dig my car out at some point today. Right now it looks like a giant marshmallow. I hope you have a good and productive week and thanks for stopping by. Remember I greatly appreciate your comments. Lots of trouble with my post today so please forgive me if you received my post several times if you subscribe to my blog. I'm still experiencing issues with Blogger and AOL both of which make me crazy or should I say crazier!! See you tomorrow with bells on. Stay tuned for the *famous* Sherry inspired card. I made it with Cosmo Cricket papers. Ta Ta for now. Tami : )

Getting my grunge on for Sunday at Lunds!!

Greetings peeps from snowy MN. We have SO much snow. I have been stamping up a storm and using my new goodies plus some new oldies. I used COSMO CRICKET papers to make this birthday card for a special friend as well as 4 punches (I especially love MS punches) and my new Embossing Boutique machine (got it for 80% off at Micheals) with my favorite Swiss Dots embossing folder. I love the vintage feel of this card however it did not scan too well. I made up extra kits for my class on Sunday so you still have time to join us (email me). Planning on going out tomorrow for a haircut and a quick stop at Target for a couple necessities (hair dye). Have a super weekend and thanks for stopping by friends. I am so not a power blogger so please leave me a little love. Tami : )

Coming clean as promised

I am so ashamed to even write this but I have to as promised in a previous entry. I went out today. Bank, Starbucks, Rainbow, and Mike's. Can you believe it? And, yesterday I ordered something online. I am not proud of myself but I feel I must blog about it to try and get a handle on my bad habits (shopping). There are worse things in life but I have bills. Lots and lots of bills. I did get the *plain* coffee free (credit card perk) and I had a gift card at Michael's but still that's no excuse. I broke my promise and its only Feb. 3. Bad me!! I did need a few groceries. Oh well. There's always tomorrow. Now let's see if I can be good the rest of the week but I need a haircut before my class on Sunday. That's a must!! Time to change the subject. Here's a sweet card I received in the mail today. I just love it. Its makes me smile. The card was made with an inchie stamp from Smudges by one of my good friends. Thanks girlfriend. I am scared to press the publish post but I have to do this for me. Thanks for stopping by and reading about my bad habits. Tami (naughty bad girl)
