Happy February!!

Hello!!
Yes, still alive and BAD BAD blogger. At the cute little Minnetonka library now and just scanned this card before I mail it off to my BFF (OK one of my BFFs from "Team Tami")!! Ha ha and just a little inside joke. I hope you are all well. Just returned from a mini girlfriend retreat in Northern MN. I am very well rested, energized and roaring to go. I thought I'd check in to let you know I am still around and still here in the Mid West. Thanks for all your nice emails. Our snow count to date is like 61.4" if my memory suits me well. Have a super week friends. I'm so looking forward to the weekend. Its the month for my annual "Superbowl Stamping" gathering with friends. Cheers!! Tami

PS. Made this Graphic 45 beauty in a class. Bye bye card!! Feel free to leave me a little stampy love. Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Thanks for stopping by today. Forgot how to crop so my scan will have to do. I tried to figure it out but NO dice. Something is better than nothing right? Catch you later and soon I hope.

Just in case you missed my previous post Grandma Jan was the blog candy winner!! "Congrats" Jan and a special thanks to all that participated. To me, you are all winners. I'm going to try and find something to post now as its late and I have to hit the hay or should I say enter the oven upstairs. Yuck. Have fan will travel!! Tami (photograph by Jan)

Look at this beauty made by Sandy!!

Isn't Sandy just dandy? The card was a bonus card from a Graphic 45 class I recently taught at Smudges. Sandy made this beautiful card with the Karen Lockhart butterfly stamp available at Smudges. Sandy was very lucky to take a class with Karen Lockhart at Smudges last year. Love how she colored the butterfly with colored pencils. Thanks Sandy for doing your homework and sharing your beautiful card with us. Happy Tuesday everyone and thanks for the visit. Tami

Happy Birthday Pops!!

My Dad's birthday is coming up in May and I want to send him this card which just happens to be a card I am teaching Let's Get Graphic (Graphic 45 papers and tags)at Anchor Paper Plymouth Thursday, May 18 at 5:30 pm. Additionally, I bought my Dad a card from my friend Sherry as he loves golf and I just couldn't pass up her Graphic 45 card!! This year he will get two birthday cards because he is SO special and an avid golfer. He eat, sleeps and dreams golf. I am up late again taking care of business. I have a very busy Friday planned and will be dropping off my Graphic 45 class board at Anchor Paper . Finally getting a much needed haircut!! Looking forward to May 1st as its National Scrapbooking Day and lots of stores are having specials and Make and Take events. I am planning on joining my friend Ruth Ann for a little fun around town minus my wallet!! Yah right on that one!! I must be good as I've been very bad in April. NO BIG surprise there.

Next up...I feel like doing some blog candy again because I am almost at 20,000 blog hits and my sister Sami is adopting a new doggie today Annie. She and my Mom are driving over two hours to MA to pick up Annie. Sami had to go through an extensive adoption process for Annie who is a rescue dog and was even interviewed by a woman at her home. WOW but I totally understand why. I am SO happy for her and she certainly deserves to get another dog after losing Yoda last year. If you want in on my blog candy just mail Sami a happy dog card or any card for that matter. Just leave me a comment here and I will email you her address next week. The deadline will be in two weeks May 15 to get a card to her. You could possibly win a very nice prize . If she gets over 20 cards I will give out a second prize. I will have Sami put all the names in a bowl like last time and have Mother Ellie pick the winner on Sunday, May 16. Prize will be mailed out the following week or if you are local I will get it to you. Last time I did this Armie in Alaska won. We (my family and I) play fair so its a good chance to win some nice blog candy!! I will gather up the loot and have one of my friends photograph the prize(s) for me to post on my blog just as soon as I can. Thank you so much in advance if you do participate and I know this will certainly brighten Sami's day. Who doesn't love to receive happy mail and let's face it we all have lots of cards and supplies. Thanks fo stopping by today. Have a great Friday and a lovely weekend. Its raining here in MN. What are your plans for the weekend?? I plan on just *looking* and being a good girl. I will let you know how things go on Sunday so stop back then. Tami : p

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Thursday friends. I have my challenge card done for our little Smudges group. I wanted to use this beautiful *virgin* perfume bottle (Postmodern Design), the lovely Graphic 45 paper and other rich papers from Anchor Paper. I love working with the gold foil stickers. Easy peasy when you use tweezers. I want to thank my BFF Wendy for the clever *doily* idea. We had lots of fun collaborating on this *bonus card* Tuesday evening at Smudges during the Graphic 45 class. Group 2 cheated!! Ha ha Group 1!! Its always a blast at Smudges and speaking of that fabo store I better get my butt up to bed and get some much needed shut eye as my chauffeur Sherry will be picking me up at 9:30 today for some yummy Caribou Coffee and then onto our playdate at Smudges . Don't you wish you could come out and play with us?? I hope you like my card. I am very pleased with it and most importantly I have Mother Ellie's Mother's Day card made and will mail it next week. Thanks for the visit and what's up with hardly anyone leaving me any blog love? Its all OK because I can count on my regulars...Amy, Candy, Sherry, Jan, Mary. I'd like to hit 10 comments someday just for the thrill of it but for now I will live. Ha ha!! Have a beautiful day and make some art today. Tami

Life's a beach!!

Here's a card from my Graphic 45 class. I really loved how it turned out and enjoy working with their beautiful papers and die cuts. I've been busy as a bee with all kinds of things this past week so my poor little bloggie has been neglected. Sorry about that but sometimes there is just no time to blog!! It was great seeing everyone on Earth Day at Smudges. The birthday gal "Sandy Candy #2" looked fabo as always (loved your outfit and hair Sandra)!!

I still have openings for my Cosmo Cricket event this Saturday evening at Lunds. If you'd like to join us crazy Cosmo Cricket fans for some crafty fun fun fun Cosmo Cricket style just drop me a note on Friday!! I do need to know. We are making five cute cards using a nice mix of product lines. I am very excited because Cosmo Cricket products make me SO happy just looking at them and the owners totally rock the industry!! Thanks for stopping by and TGIF. I hope you all have a pleasant weekend. Adios amigas and nightie night. ~~Tami : ) PS. Our weather has been gorgeous but its going to rain on the weekend. Its OK with me as we need some water!!

Happy Belated Birthday

Here's a Graphic 45 card I made for my good friend Jodi Bug. It was also a card I recently taught at Smudges. I haven't seen Jodi in ages but I will be visiting with her later today in Pine City!! I can't wait to pop into the Pine City Scrapbooking Shop with my BFF Wendy who is Jodi's big sister. The store is having their Annual Used Stamp and Scrapbooking Sale beginning this Saturday. There are 27 sellers. I believe the sale runs for one week? At this time I am only selling A Muse stamps at a deep discount. If there is anything you want I can pull it for you but you have to email me soon. OK back to today's card. I LOVE anything from Graphic 45 and I want the new 8 x 8 paper pads really bad available at Anchor Paper. I know I always want something new!! Its the story of my life. This time I am blaming Ruth Ann and Sherry. Yes its always someone else's fault. Again, I wish you all a very happy Friday and hope you have something special planned. It was a super busy week for me with the two classes and I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing evening cropping again on Saturday at Archiver's. Now that's only if all goes well with my 'ole car these next few days. It has to go visit the car Doctor and that makes its mama very very sad. Thanks for stopping by and please have some fun. I wish for NO more snow. We still have so much snow everywhere you look and lots of big huge icicles and ice patches everywhere. One has to walk like a duck for sure!! Oh I received my Girl Scout cookies on Thursday from Luanne. Thanks!! I ordered four boxes and we opened the Thin Mints after my class was over. Yumo. Sorry you missed out *Candy #1 and Candy #2*. Check this out *Candy* brought candy to class. How sweet is she? You know she is Candy #1 for sure!! Major brownie points with the teacher!! I am blogging again mostly for her!! We always have a blast at Smudges!! I also got to see Jack. He was pretty much the highlight of my day (a little man love)!! Jack is a beautiful standard poodle puppy and such a good boy. I love Jack so much and *want/need* him bad!! Sandy *Candy #2* if you are reading this I hope you and hubby are having a fabo vacation in sunny CA you lucky dogs. Safe travels my friend. We missed you lots on Thursday but have no fear because Tami is back on the Smudges stamping scene!! Ha Ha. Call me crazy but I love to have fun. Tami!!

Happy July Fourth!!

Greetings from Savage!! MN that is. I hope everyone is having a swell weekend. I'm at my *adopted Grandma's* (I will pay for this later) and am enjoying every minute of 'ole granny pampering me and yelling at her hubby too. Poor Bill!! I had a little Graphic 45 class yesterday after we got back from a late lunch at the Crackle Barrel. We had a good time and lots of good laughs.

Here's one of the cards we made Friday with a little double ric rac action going on. (I actually made it with my Dad in mind as I owe him a card). I hope you likey and it is not 100% my idea (you know the 'ole copying and tweak method). Sorry I blew it yesterday in the blogging department. I was too tired to post last nite so that means I may have to make up for it tonight?? Maybe is the key word here!! I attempted to watch a movie with Jan last nite Confessions of a Shopaholic but I fell asleep during it. Bummer but man was I tired after only getting a few hours of sleep the night before. I was out like a light. We plan to watch a movie this evening and craft a bit after supper. Still NO scrapbooking but I'm having a good time just chillin' and grillin' so that's all that matters!! I did *attempt* to make a batch of Rice Krispy bars this morning but disaster struck in Jan's kitchen. Jan wanted to snap a photo of me so I let her. I can't believe I blew it but I knew before I started the bowl was too small as well as the pan. Oh well I tried. Any plans for fireworks tonight??? I already went to them on Wed. nite in Plymouth so I got my fill. We have decided to stay home and take it easy tonight. Have a super Sunday my friends. I hope you will get a bang out of the photo because I sure did!! Catch you later. Tami : ) PS Dinner was great and we had lots of yummy food. Thanks Jan and Bill -King of the grill!! Time to watch a movie. Be safe and happy my friends. Let me know if you want me to come into your kitchen and make a pan of bars. I say move over Majorie Johnson!!! LOL!! I was able to pack down the bar mixture but some areas were bone dry when Jan and I ate one. Time for S'mores. Yumo!! Later!! :)

More Graphic 45!!

Hello friends-

Anyone out there? I've been naughty and haven't felt like blogging for a couple of weeks. I know, BAD Tami!!

Here's a pretty simple butterfly card from my recent Graphic 45 classes. I have one last Graphic 45 class this month on Tuesday, June 30, 5:30-7:30 pm at Anchor Paper, St. Paul on University. This is one of the cards we will be making. Any takers out there? I am offering the class "to go" as well so please contact me if you are interested on Monday or Tuesday.

It sure was HOT and HUMID last week!! Yuck!! Today was a beautiful day (thank the good Lord) but it was really windy. Just the perfect day and I was so happy to get relief from the high humidity. I've been up since 2 am working on things. I did go to bed pretty early Saturday nite as the heat and humidity just about killed me yesterday with no air conditioning in my car or house. I taught a Copics class in the am and then I decided to stop by the Farmer's Market on my way home in Minneapolis. What the heck was I thinking? Right before I left the market it started to rain really hard and then when the rain stopped the humidity got even worse. Next stop, McDonalds and the library!! Not the smartest move either!! Let's just say this. The combination of all these things totally made me sick when I got home. : ( A good night of rest made all the difference so I felt much better today. : ) I am sorry if I'm boring you.

I hope you all have a great and sunshiney week. Life is so precious so live each day to the fullest as one never knows what tomorrow will bring. One of my friends I haven't seen in ages lost her 19 year old son to drugs last weekend. It was all so sad and my heart is still breaking for her and her family. That's way too young to die. Rest in peace Justin.

Again, I am truly sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Last week was pretty awful so I will leave it at that. Today I had a great day finally and I treated myself to a few outside plants as they were all 50% off at Linder's. Got to love a good deal!! Stay cool my friends and please spread the love and be kind to one another. I hope you have a safe and fun holiday weekend. I can't believe its almost July 1st. WOW. I know I'm looking forward to being pampered this coming weekend but I have to teach Grandma Jan a private Copic lesson!! Please check out my weekly Friday post on the Memory Box blog by clicking the image Dave made for me on the top right side of my blog. Thanks for stopping by. I miss you friends!! Tami :)

I taught my first Graphic 45 class on Sunday and I thought my cards came out pretty good if I must say so myself!! Pat pat on the 'ole back back!! LOL!! I can not tell you how much I love this paper line and their beautiful tags. I literally swoon over anything by Graphic 45!! The awesome ladies in my class yesterday all had a great time and we made five different projects!! They made some pretty amazing cards and little gifts. In addition to the cards, we made a little purse complete with chocolate and a very lovely tea bag holder complete with tea bags. I can't wait to make more!! I've also got the bug really bad for Glitter Mist. Donna aka "Mrs. Grungy" brought me a lovely gift. She made me a Graphic 45 ATC holder. It was so awesome. Thanks ever so much Donna!! You totally rock and I can't wait to craft with you and the other chicks on Friday up in Pine City!! We are going to have a blast with Marni! I can hardly wait to go!!

I hope you will treat yourself and sign up for one of my classes soon!! I have met some incredible women this past year and I am so grateful for your business, friendship, and support. A BIG THANKS!! I may be adding a Memory Box class or two up in Brainerd, MN this summer if all goes well. I for sure plan to have a "Memory Box Stamping Gala" at The Garden Room in Moundsview more than likely in July. That's all for now my friends. I hope you had a great holiday Monday. Thanks for stopping by and its back to work for me. Tami :"]
