Taking a blogging break

I will not be available for a few days. My classes are both on schedule for Saturday at Caribou Coffee and Sunday at Lunds. If you want to come please email me. I will get back to you on Thursday evening. Have a great week and stay cool friends. I added lots of June classes...check out my schedule (will update it soon) and read the Anchor Paper June newsletter.

Its so HOT here. The heat just about killed me on Monday and its going to be wicked HOT all week. No fun without air conditioning. Just in case you missed my previous post Grandma Jan was the blog candy winner!! "Congrats" Jan and a special thanks to all that participated. To me, you are all winners. I'm going to try and find something to post now as its late and I have to hit the hay or should I say enter the oven upstairs. Yuck. Have fan will travel!! Tami (photograph by Jan)

Sneak peak of Cosmo Cricket

Here's a card we will be making tonight at Lunds. I made up two extra class packets so you still have time to join us for a fun evening of Cosmo Cricket delight!! The festivities begin around 5ish. We probably won't start stamping until 6:30 or so. I am beyond excited. I love working with Cosmo Cricket. The paper and all the other doo dads are yummy and bring a BIG smile to my face. I want more!! I get SO happy just looking at their paper, chipboard and other goodies!! I used Garden Variety from the mini deck on this particular card. It is so cute (GV mini deck) OK and my card!! I also broke out my new Martha Stewart scissors to cut the grass. Coolio as my friend AMY says!! Had to run right out and get the scissors a few weeks ago. They are slicky dick I must say!! I finally used my big brads from American Crafts as flower centers. I hope you likey and thanks for stopping by. Its raining here cats and dogs. Stay tuned for another card on Sunday. Have a nice weekend friends. Feel free to leave me a little *Cosmo* love!! Tami and I'm over and out of here. Time to get some shut eye. Whew!! Like a stamp at Smudges says: another deadline, another miracle!! My hands are so sore from all the cutting and handling so much paper. I know poor baby.

New Easter card!!

Here's a card I recently made. For you locals I will be doing a free Make and Take on Saturday, March 13 from noon until 3 pm. Remember Daylight Savings is this Sunday and its also the day of my You're a Hoot class at Lunds. I am scheduled to teach a couple of Spring Card Classes soon at Smudges. Another busy week next week. Our ATC meeting is on St. Patricks Day and I'm taking a class on Friday and Saturday. I may have to cancel out of the Friday one at Archiver's. We shall see.

Have a great weekend friends and thanks for the visit. I have been extremely busy and right now I am not feeling too well. Most of our snow has melted. I can't wait for Spring to arrive!! How about you. It won't be long now. Today its our third day of rain but its better than snow. What a strange winter we have had this year in Minnesota. Happy weekend. Tami

Another recent class sample

Here's a card I recently taught at two HOT spots...Lunds and Smudges. Hey Leslie girl and Trish (Jack's mama)...Happy Belated Birthday. You too can see this *lovely* on display at Smudges. The paper is from K and Company and the thrill of the paper other than its beauty is the hunt!! If you scored a pad (8 x 8) please leave me a comment. If you didn't find any feel free to leave me a comment too. I know not everyone needs it like me. So far I was able to get two. How about you?? I will be teaching the card at Smudges on Tuesday, February 23 at 6 pm. Be there or be square!! I hope by now you have realized and/or noticed I like to have fun on the 'ole bloggie. Its a wonder I even blog at all because I have so many issues with Blogger and me. Catch you later alligators. I can't wait to watch the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics tonight. I'd love to give a big shout out to the Candy girls, Eclair, HT and the fabo Trish and Leslie duo. It was so nice to finally meet Jack (Trish's dapper standard poodle). I wanted to take him home with me SO bad. It was a great Thursday afternoon with the girls and Jack at Smudges!! Thanks for stopping by my friends. Gosh you never know who's reading your blog but I don't have anything to hide so I hope you have enjoyed my silliness and a little stamping thrown in for good measure. Time for a little beauty rest. I wish you a fun filled lovely Valentine's Day on Saturday and a happy President's Day three day weekend. Do you have any special plans?? I do. Tami :)
