Another Class Sample...Basic Grey!!

Here is another card we will be making on Thursday at my class at Smudges. Who's coming??? It starts at 10:30 am and there will be five cards for this class!!

I am signed up for two Crop Around Towns in Sept. (Archiver's Scrapfest) and I'm pretty stoked. I planned and hoped for Cosmo Cricket but then I was able to secure Basic Grey. I am happy as a clam. It took two hours this morning beginning at 7 to get through the phone lines to two Archiver's stores. I can not wait until Sept. Life is good!!

Hey, I knew I'd get your attention!!! What the title means is I'm all excited!! I got my weekly (Friday) Memory Box blog to finally post after fighting with AOL and my laptop for five long hours this am not to mention several hours last night. I wish I could just go buy a new laptop but that's not going to happen anytime soon on my beer budget. LOL!! Plus its so chilly willie!! Right now its only 64 degrees. Brrrrr!! If you have some time this weekend please visit the Memory Box blog (Dave's) and check out my card. I hate to beg. Gosh I feel like a dog beggin' for a bone and other days I feel like I'm in the doghouse!! But for today I'm a pretty happy camper. Now if I could just have some of those new Poppy Stamp dogs and more of the Poppy people I'd be in doggie heaven!! Man I just love them. If you haven't seen them yet just click on the Poppy stamps blinkie logo on my blog and it will take you to Poppy heaven. I read that Dave released some clear Poppy stamps but for the life of me I can't find them. If anyone knows where they are hiding please fill me in!!

Well its a mere 64 degrees right now and I'm freezing my a** off!! I'm stamping in fifth gear right now but felt the need to take a blog break!! Tomorrow I am dropping off a few of my class samples (a mini board) at Smudges for my All Occasion Card class next Thursday, July 23 at 10:30 am. I plan to attend the free Make and Take at Smudges which is from 12-3pm. I got a sneak peak of Leslie's totally sweet Poppy Stamps card on Wed. night when we had our monthly ATC (Artist Trading Card) gathering at Smudgey's (I purposely wrote that because I'm on a high right now)!! I did have a large coffee at Caribou this afternoon so that may explain things a bit. The place was packed and that's because its winter today in Minnesota. Its just so strange.

Anyway, here are a couple more ATC's per Carrie's request. Thanks for the great idea *Candy*!! I will post them in twos and in NO particular order. Card Class at Smudges Thursday, July 23, 10:30 am

Hello friends!!
I'm still alive and kicking! I've been pretty busy lately taking care of some personal things. I wanted to let you all know I'm scheduled to teach a Mixed Bag Card Class next Thursday, July 23 at Smudges in Chanhassen, MN. Please call the store to signup (phone number is listed below on the right hand side of my blog) and/or send me an email. If you can not make the class you may order the class to go and I will provide you with the kits. Email me please with any questions. We will be making cards using an assortment of stamp companies available at Smudges including Cuttlebug embossing folders and die cuts. I can hardly wait as it seems like I haven't taught in ages. I'm really looking forward to seeing some old friends and hanging out at Smudges!! Please sign up soon if you want to have some good laughs and fun stamping with me at Smudges!! :D

Here's a couple ATCs (Artist Trading Card) from tonight at Smudges. We had our monthly meeting and its always fun to get together, craft, gab and shop!! Tonight we stamped on fabric. Thanks Cindy and Carolyn. And everyone. Our dear friend Tamara is moving to Iowa very soon and we are going to miss her. Me, I will miss her something WICKED!! She is such an amazing woman and an incredible friend. Things will not be the same for me with her gone. Bye bye girl but I will be seeing you in Sept. Tamara is returning to school for her Masters Degree in Education and will be getting married to Bobby Joe in Sept. I am so proud of her and am really happy for her. Change is good and I wish you all the best Tamara if you are reading this blgo. OK I better stop blabbing and get to bed early for a change. My ATC is on the left and Erin's is on the right. I would love to scan all of them but I am too tired. I wanted to post mine and her's was on top of the pile so I added her's too. Anyone out there?? I am very sorry I didn't keep up with the blog thing but I got busy with life and just trying to survive. And then there's the heat factor and my plumbing problems. Geesh!! It ain't easy peeps. Just taking care of business, oh and the Michael Jackson thing (glued to the TV on Tuesday). RIP Michael. Today is Friday and you know what that means!!! Get your butt over to the Memory Box blog and give me a little LOVE. My guest blog this week took me forever. I swear I must have proofread it at least 50 times. So on that note I think I deserve a little love. Hee hee. I want to thank my handful of loyal fans. Your blog love is greatly appreciated. I have to find a card in my stash to post. Happy July Fourth!!

Greetings from Savage!! MN that is. I hope everyone is having a swell weekend. I'm at my *adopted Grandma's* (I will pay for this later) and am enjoying every minute of 'ole granny pampering me and yelling at her hubby too. Poor Bill!! I had a little Graphic 45 class yesterday after we got back from a late lunch at the Crackle Barrel. We had a good time and lots of good laughs.

Here's one of the cards we made Friday with a little double ric rac action going on. (I actually made it with my Dad in mind as I owe him a card). I hope you likey and it is not 100% my idea (you know the 'ole copying and tweak method). Sorry I blew it yesterday in the blogging department. I was too tired to post last nite so that means I may have to make up for it tonight?? Maybe is the key word here!! I attempted to watch a movie with Jan last nite Confessions of a Shopaholic but I fell asleep during it. Bummer but man was I tired after only getting a few hours of sleep the night before. I was out like a light. We plan to watch a movie this evening and craft a bit after supper. Still NO scrapbooking but I'm having a good time just chillin' and grillin' so that's all that matters!! I did *attempt* to make a batch of Rice Krispy bars this morning but disaster struck in Jan's kitchen. Jan wanted to snap a photo of me so I let her. I can't believe I blew it but I knew before I started the bowl was too small as well as the pan. Oh well I tried. Any plans for fireworks tonight??? I already went to them on Wed. nite in Plymouth so I got my fill. We have decided to stay home and take it easy tonight. Have a super Sunday my friends. Fly Fly Fly!!

Here's a class sample I made for an upcoming class I'm teaching in July. It looks much nicer in person and the ribbon shifted in my scanner but hopefully it looks OK. I really love how it turned out. Anyway this is Thursday's card although I'm posting it late. Please forgive me as I had a super busy day. Does this mean I have to post a Friday card? Well I don't know about that but I will try my darnest to post one from Jan's. Yikes the pressure is on!! I'm leaving today for the weekend so I'm not sure yet if I'll be blogging. Here's my card as promised right before the stroke of midnite!!

Hello dear friends. Got a little busy this evening cleaning like a mad woman, more laundry, scrubbing, purging old clothes, and washing windows. Then I ran out for a Starbucks and a few groceries (diet coke only $1.25 a 12 pack)!! Then for some strange reason I decided to go to the fireworks at 10 pm in Plymouth. I missed the MN Symphany again this year but maybe next year?? I know I'm crazy. I have to get back to work now. I have just one day left to finish a whole bunch of things including my weekly Friday guest blog on the Memory Box blog and I have to color my hair all before Friday morning. Bye bye roots!! (I hate dying my hair more than anything in my white bathroom). I can't wait to get out of town on Friday and have a little fun with a couple of my friends. Anyway have a great Thursday chickadees. I will try and post another card tomorrow. Do you think I can do it seven days in a row??? Hmmmm....not sure but I will certainly try. Hey this card looks much better in real life. I recently taught it in a COPIC class and I colored the white Cuttlebugged paper with lime green and then blue ink. I love doing this!! It really is a cute card if only you could see it in person. I used Stickles, clear glaze pen, clear and lemon Spica glitter pen, Denami shreds, and blue staples. My card didn't scan too well as its lumpy. I tried to tweek it but I'm not a good tweeker!! I need some formal *tweeking training*. LOL!!! I hope this note finds you well.
