Card Challenge 66 Wheely Good Fun!!
I was checking out a few blogs today and saw this particular wheel card challenge completed on Glenna's blog. I thought I'd give it a whirl as I had the perfect wheel sentiment. Its another beautiuful day here in MN but about 30 degrees cooler than last Tuesday. Right now its 63 degress at around 3 pm. I hate to say this but at one point today I was freezing and craving a hot drink? Cocoa perhaps? Nope I stuck with water. Hope you are having a great day. I will be back tomorrow with another card. Guess I'm making up for lost time!! For me its back to kitmaking and sorting my vast supply of printed paper. Oh one last thing, the card challenge details can be found on Cute Card Thursday. Thanks for stopping by!! Tami :)

ESS#43 Card Challenge
Hello friends-
First off I'm really new to card challenges so please cut me a little slack!! I did run into a few snags yesterday while uploading my card for Tracy's challenge (her blog link is on the bottom of my blog Eat Sleep Stamp) but heck I tried. I decided to use some Amy Butler goodies from my stash for a couple of reasons. Amy (also listed on my blog) loves Amy Butler and so do I. She is an awesome talented young woman in WA and does a lot of card challenges!! Hi Amy!! I really like her style and of course Sherry the button lady (also listed below). I made the card because I found the paper and Grand Adhesions while sorting my Memory Box paper yesterday. I couldn't post it until today because I wanted Sherry to go on a treasure hunt!! Tee hee but I made it too easy for her!! Long story!! So here you have my take on the card challenge. Next time I will keep the sketch up on my laptop as a reference (that's if my laptop will stay up that long and not to mention I can't print anything at all-have to go to the library) and then do the challenge!! I also thought I would surprise three of my friends with the card...Tracy, Tinla and Sherry. I hope you likey!! I tried to upload the actual file of the card challenge but I'm having trouble so the real card will have to do for now. Remember I'm a newbie at all this and blogging too!! :)
Thanks to everyone that ordered the Graphic 45 card class "to go". I appreciate your business very much and thanks for the blog love too. It really does matter to me. We had another perfect beautiuful day here in MN and that made me so so happy!! I got a lot of work done both inside and outside the house!! I have my new plants all set to grow and hope they will make me proud!! Have a great week everyone and I will be back tomorrow with another card. I promise. Love and peace my friends. Tami : )
PS...This week is going to rock. I can already feel it. Nothing lasts forever so thank God the yucky humid weather we had last week has gone to another place. Stay cool my friends and thanks for stopping by the 'ole bloggies!! I am going to try and do a better job of blogging and next up hopefully is a stab at a card challenge on the 365 Cards site (also listed on my blog). I love checking out Pam's challenges and of course visiting Tracy's blog and others too!! TTYL

More Graphic 45!!
Hello friends-
Anyone out there? I've been naughty and haven't felt like blogging for a couple of weeks. I know, BAD Tami!!
Here's a pretty simple butterfly card from my recent Graphic 45 classes. I have one last Graphic 45 class this month on Tuesday, June 30, 5:30-7:30 pm at Anchor Paper, St. Paul on University. This is one of the cards we will be making. Any takers out there? I am offering the class "to go" as well so please contact me if you are interested on Monday or Tuesday.
It sure was HOT and HUMID last week!! Yuck!! Today was a beautiful day (thank the good Lord) but it was really windy. Just the perfect day and I was so happy to get relief from the high humidity. I've been up since 2 am working on things. I did go to bed pretty early Saturday nite as the heat and humidity just about killed me yesterday with no air conditioning in my car or house. I taught a Copics class in the am and then I decided to stop by the Farmer's Market on my way home in Minneapolis. What the heck was I thinking? Right before I left the market it started to rain really hard and then when the rain stopped the humidity got even worse. Next stop, McDonalds and the library!! Not the smartest move either!! Let's just say this. The combination of all these things totally made me sick when I got home. : ( A good night of rest made all the difference so I felt much better today. : ) I am sorry if I'm boring you.
I hope you all have a great and sunshiney week. Life is so precious so live each day to the fullest as one never knows what tomorrow will bring. One of my friends I haven't seen in ages lost her 19 year old son to drugs last weekend. It was all so sad and my heart is still breaking for her and her family. That's way too young to die. Rest in peace Justin.
Again, I am truly sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Last week was pretty awful so I will leave it at that. Today I had a great day finally and I treated myself to a few outside plants as they were all 50% off at Linder's. Got to love a good deal!! Stay cool my friends and please spread the love and be kind to one another. I hope you have a safe and fun holiday weekend. I can't believe its almost July 1st. WOW. I know I'm looking forward to being pampered this coming weekend but I have to teach Grandma Jan a private Copic lesson!! Please check out my weekly Friday post on the Memory Box blog by clicking the image Dave made for me on the top right side of my blog. Thanks for stopping by. I miss you friends!! Tami :)

I'm back in town and in Wayzata!!
Hey chicks if anyone still reads my blog. I am back from the roadtrip "up north". I have major problems at the house (plumbing) and my computer is still acting up and I can not print anything. I decided to come to the library this afternoon as I need to work on some things, pick up a book I've been waiting for forever, and print some documents. I am getting ready to sell some of my stamps really soon so if there are any A Muse stamps on your wish list please send me an email. I am considering selling off my Paper Parachute collection as well as my Ducks in a Row collection. I also have some old PSX ones but no botanicals. Please email soon if you are interested. I can't add a card today as I'm at the library. I hope you will go to the Memory Box blog and check out my Friday blog. Feel free to leave me a little blog love while you are at it!! I have three classes next week at Anchor Paper. Is anyone interested in attending any of my classes? If so, they are listed on my blog. The three classes next week are Copic summer cards and the following week is my last Graphic 45 class. I am selling kits for this particular class so let me know if you want one. Have a great sunny weekend and thanks for checking in. Tami

Top of the Morning to you!!
Hello! I know I have been a bad blogger but I have been busy and blogging is very time consuming. Here is the make and take project from when I went up to The Pine City Scrapbooking Company a few weekends ago. This card was mounted on a brown kraft gift bag however mine fell off with the adhesive I used that I purchased at Micheals. I hate when something falls apart!! Anyway it opens and the card is inside. Velco is also used. Marni (owner) did a great job designing it and teaching it to us crazy gals!!
Its 4 am and I can't sleep so I decided to work on a few things (updating blog and pack for my upcoming trip). I just tripped over my Cuttlebug (it has always had a broken handle) and that doesn't feel too good on ones toes in the wee hours when you least expect it. That will teach me from putting it on the floor!! I let out a few choice words and hope I didn't wake up the neighbors (sprinklers were in my favor for once)!!
Please be sure to go the Memory Box blog Click on the blinkie on top of my blog to take you there and check out my Friday guest blog. AOL acted up so bad for me late Thursday nite into Friday am. I am still having major laptop power and battery issue too. It was so awful I just wanted to throw in the towel as far as blogging is concerned. It takes so long to type up everything and I kept losing my text. Its always freakin' something I tell you. On a good note, I had a great time at the Glimmer Mist class I took on Friday. The teacher and my good friend Mary totally rocked the house!! I only bought one thing (key lime Glimmer Mist as I'm currently on a pretty tight budget). Trust me I wanted to go crazy and get tons more stuff. It was torture. I was just there last Saturday for the entire day so I had to be a good girl yesterday!! Restraint...LOL!!
I'm leaving town on Sunday afternoon for a few days of "R & R" and good times at the cabin which I've never been to before. Road trip with Cheri!! Fun, fun, fun!! I will try and check in if I go to Laurel's and her shop Create-A-Card Studio in Brainerd, MN . I will use her computer if I make it over to her lovely shop!! I hope so as its always a blast and stopping off at the Green Lantern near her home is always great fun too!! I will be in Malmo Bay on Millec Lacs Lake for a few days with my friends hopefully having a wonderful girl's summer get-together!! We won't be fishing either but will find other things to keep us busy...cocktails, stamping, scrapbooking, laughing, shopping, etc. I can't wait to fire up the grill and have a cookout. We are going to have smores too!! YUMMO. Well I better sign off and I think I will pack a bit. Please be sure to tell me what you think of the Memory Box card I designed on Thursday. Dave recently released ten new clear stamp sets and of course I want a couple what a surprise right?? I worked with the Glitterati paper collection and its wild to say the least. Lots of love and sunshine wishes my friends!! Your friend Tami : )
PS. Read this if you are local!! I went to Salad Creations in Maple Grove for supper on Friday nite. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place!! I give it a perfect 10 on everything and it was so cute and so clean!! The employees, the food, and the establishment were all TOP notch including the very clean restroom. The food (salads, wraps, homemade cookies) all looked so fresh and were beautifully displayed. I have never seen anything like it especially the lettuce displays/containers and the cute vegetable themed fabric hats the employees all sported!! I had a buffalo chicken salad wrap and it was so good. Thanks Cheryl for the heads up on this place and I will be returning soon. They have a punch card too. I will list the info. on my blog but its off Bass Lake Road kind of near CVS. TTYL and thanks for stopping by.

Memory Box Friday Inspiration!!
Hello friends-
How the heck are you peeps? No news is good news? Not the case here.
Please check my Friday post on the Memory Box blog (Dave's). I am sorry I haven't posted anything since Sunday but I've been busy with other pressing matters that needed my immediate attention.
Is anyone interested in signing up for my Graphic 45 Card Class at 10 am on Saturday in St. Paul? Its going to rain this weekend and be really chilly according to the news/weather report I am watching right now as I type this blog. Come on now, you know you want to stamp with me and Cheri!! I feel like a broken record but I need more signups!! We are making four really nice Graphic 45 cards and a little purse complete with chocolate. The ladies in my other classes loved the cards so they said. I hope to post another class sample later on today after I finish making up the kits for my Saturday class. You can also order the class "to go." If you'd like to do this please email me and we can discuss the details.
I have two more Graphic 45 classes scheduled at Anchor Paper (Plymouth) next week and then I'm going on a mini vacation with some of my friends up to Mille Lacs Lake. As the Minnesotans say we're "going up North". I am very excited as I will be seeing some of my long lost friends and will hopefully visit Laurel in Brainerd. She owns Create-A-Card Studio.
So long for now my friends. Again, please give me some blog love over on the Memory Box blog. Dave recently released ten new clear sets and I want some of the sets really bad. I *need* some especially the penguin at the beach!! I don't ask for much peeps so please leave me some love. I swear to you I never thought I'd be one begging for comments. When it takes a person X amount of hours to design, scan, crop, and write up card directions for one little blog post a little love is greatly appreciated. I know people don't always leave comments but they certainly do if there is blog candy involved!! LOL. I also realize some people just lurk and also not everyone likes every card. In my case, I can't begin to tell you how long it takes me to make a card and then type up the card directions, crop the card, and proofread it over and over and over. I'm sure some of you are thinking what the heck is she blabbing on and on about??? Its enough to drive me crazy but I do love the weekly card challenge and for once in five weeks my laptop did not crash on Thursday. Thank you God. I am a huge Memory Box fan so I'll do just about anything!! Will work for more rubber!! LOL!!
Have a great Friday my friends and weekend too. I send you lots of love. Tami XOX
PS. What do you have planned for the weekend? I'd love to know!! I will be in St. Paul and Roseville this weekend. I may go to the Edina Art Fair . Its a BIG maybe as I won't be able to purchase anything:(. Irene my friend is turning 82 on Saturday and she invited me to her birthday party in Cambridge on Sunday. My friend Mary wants me to come to the Super Crop at Archiver's on Sunday. What's a girl to do? Stay home, its cheaper!! What do I want to do? Teach on Saturday in the morning and then attend the Archiver's Saturday crop at 3 pm. I'd love to go to Irene's birthday party on Sunday but Cambrigde is far from where I live but she's worth it!! I will let you know at the end of the weekend what I do end up doing. Any guesses?? Roseville is a very dangerous place for me...Archiver's, Blick Art Materials, and lots more like Roseville Mall. Tami :-)

Move over Tim, Donna is here!!
OK I am on my third post of the wee hours!! What's up with this?? I thought I would post this cool little tag Donna made me like at 3 am Sunday morning or later when she gave Cindy and I a little "Tim Holtz" ink demo and Glimmer Mist. I previously called it "Glitter Mist" so I apologize for the typo as well as the other typos I made on my earlier posts. I am not perfect and its so flippin' late!! Anyway this tag is SO cool oh yah and Donna made me a double *grungy* paper flower with Glimmer Mist spray. Yes she is COOL man!! Cool as a cucumber and certainly a cutup. Her laugh, loud and clear Roger!! I hope you likey!! What am I going to do with it? I think I will hang if off my big toe!!! I hope you will think this is funny. Some wear toe rings (Donna and my sisters) and some where toe tags (me)!! I know people I need some serious rest. Catch you later alligators!! Tami :']
My Cool little grungy flower on a stick!!
I had to post this as I worked so hard on it. Right Donna and Cindy?? I love it and it was our Friday Make and Take project at the Chick Flick anniversary crop held at The Pine City Scrapbooking Store. I love it for the cuteness factor and I scored on a particular paper on this puppy which I had been on the hunt for!! Isn't it sad I get so excited over paper (Scenic Route). Will I be making more of these flowers any time soon?? Probably not as I worked *x* hours on it!!! LOL!!! Isn't that right Donna and Cindy?? Who has my little piece of May Arts twine that turned to fuzz?? LOL!! Let me just tell you I worked it baby on this one!! I had to *rough up* all those circles and I was complaining about getting paper dust in my lungs and my right hand was hurting!! The things we go through for crafting I tell you!! Geez Louise as the Minnesotans would say (I'm from Massachusetts and we would probably have said...this wicked sucks meaning what you have to go through to get your flower all roughed up and assembled)!! :0)
I am laughing my butt off right now and I should be in bed sleeping as I have another busy week coming up. So Donna, I say this one is for you girlfriend. I have to journal on the stick on Monday and get my guest tag down for the board in the crop room. I said the same thing last time but I never made that one. If a miracle happens on Monday I will be sure to post my contribution. Each guest is suppose to make a tag when they leave Pine City and hang it on this special little whatever on a wall before you leave!! Of course Mrs. Grungy Donna made hers. She is going to hurt me next time I see her. I also have to make 24 ATCs soon. Yikes!! xoxoxo Tami....Goodnite my friends and I say oh happy day....Big smiles :0)
Hello anyone home?? Day 93 Call ME
This is for the 365 Cards challenge to make a card with a telephone or the words CALL ME. Well I happen to love this particular Graphic 45 paper. I am going to bed now. I had a wonderful weekend at The Pine City Scrapbooking Store in Pine City, MN. I attended the Chick Flick special crops this past weekend and let me say this...YOU MUST GO THERE! It was total paradise and the staff totally out did themselves. They went above and beyond the call of duty and the owner Marni did a fabulous job. Talk about all the little details (I was in heaven)!! The people *up there* certainly know the meaning of customer service and I was taught this way too. Thanks a million. Then of course there was the one and only grungy Donna...the weekend entertainment for the crops. Oh my God did we ever laugh!! I could go on and on with weekend tid bits however I am too tired to get into the details now but trust me I had a blast. Thanks Cindy for letting me ride with you girlfriend. You made it so special!! : )
If anyone is interested in taking a class I am teaching a Graphic 45 card class this coming Sat. June 6 at Anchor Paper on University in St. Paul. The cards are awesome and we are making a little purse with chocolates and 4 other projects. Sorry to sound a tad conceited but I think my cards came out good!! Class is at 10 am and I need signups please!! Have a great week. I'm off to beddy by. Big stamping huggers. Tami : ) PS. I did do a *little shopping*!!! (imagine that??)!!
