Thinking Halloween & Tuesday Triplets Day 206

The other night I was on 365 Days Card Blog and saw the daily card challenge. Well every Friday I design a card for Memory Box. I believe my Halloween card fulfills the challenge. Woo Hoo!! I actually designed a card without even realizing it until I went on the blog again tonight. The only thing I would change is the placement of the spiders. I wish I stamped them in different areas and not in the center. Oh well. I still like my card!! If you'd like additional card details hop on over to the Memory Box website and check out my blog post. Please let me know what you think. Have a great weekend. As always, thanks for stopping by my little 'ole bloggie. Tami
-----------------------------------------
I have a Fall Card Class coming up next Tuesday evening at Anchor Paper (Plymouth). Anyone want to join me? I would love to have a few more signups. Its going to be a fun night. We will be using Copics and other fun stampy items. I am now double Copic Certified!! I attended Marianne Walker's Copic class last Thursday at the Minneapolis Hilton and got to meet her assistant Debbie Olsen. It was a great day!! Thanks Mom *Ellie*. She paid my way. Love and miss you Mommy!!

Last item. I am going to ScrapPink at Archiver's (Roseville) on Sunday. I really shouldn't be attending another thing as I have so many bills and spent enough last week at Scrapfest. The main reason I am going is because my very sweet and dear grandmother Emma died from breast cancer at 91. I am going to honor her and two other friends that lost their lives to breast cancer. I also know two other breast cancer survivors so I feel this is a good event. Plus I *need* to get out and have a little fun. You know turn that frown upside down. LOL!! The fee is only $20 for 7 hours of crafting and includes dinner and prizes. Half of the fee will be donated for breast cancer research. That the plan!! :D

Day 174 Just Peachy 365 Days Card Challenge

When I read today's challenge on the 365 Cards blog I knew I wanted to participate. I quick assembled this card and I'm also going to teach this same card in the two Vintage Card Classes I'm teaching at both Anchor Papers (Plymouth and St. Paul) in September. The card is made on Stardreams pale peach paper from Anchor Paper and the designer paper is from Graphic 45. The pearls are from Memory Box and my friend Jan gave me the peach vintage button I glued onto the distressed paper flower. The birds and the stripes are all peach. Peach was surely my color theme on the card. I love soft pastels colors and hope you will enjoy it too. Most people that see my cards always say they look so much better in real life. Inside sentiment: happy birthday in a pinky peachy distress ink (Tim Holtz). Have a great day my friends and for those of you that don't know I'm a Friday guest blogger on the Memory Box blog. Click on the upper right icon on my blog if you want to see my card I posted today. It is pouring in MN. I think I will go out for coffee now at Caribou or Starbucks or Dunn Brothers or should I go to McDonalds or to one of many gas stations? If I was smart I'd stay home and brew my own Starbucks or Green Mountain. Hmmmm...What's a girl to do. I can't sleep so I might as well get some coffee and continue stamping. I want to go shopping today really bad. Thanks for stopping by and I'm sorry my card did not scan too well. I think its time for a new printer/scanner. Have a terrific day. TGIF!! Tami =)

365 Cards...Day-73...Tuesday's Trio Challenge!!

I know, I know Halloween in May? I just happen to have this leftover card kit from a Halloween class I taught last year at my annual stamping Halloween bash. I decided to use it for this card challenge as it foots the bill. It has circles, scallops and bling. There are two orange gem stickes on each side of the Martha Stewart ribbon. I hope you like it!! Its never too early to start making your Halloween cards. Good nite. Its super late here in MN. BOO.....Tami!!! Just call me crazy!!! My laptop keeps crashing and I'm still freaking out about it. TTYL and thanks for the visit. Happy Friday!! Wishing you lots of sunshine!! Be good!!

365 Cards...Day 75-Coffee card challenge!!

Here's my take on the coffee card challenge over at 365 cards. Better late than never. There are six stamps on the front. The scan is lousy but I used a Sakura white Souffle pen on the tiny flower centers. I hope you like it!! Please be sure to check out my Friday guest blog www.memorybox.com by clicking on the blinkie on my blog and be sure to leave me some love. I certainly need some after today's mishaps. Thanks for stopping by and have a happy Friday. Peace out. Tami :')

Got Candy? Another card challenge-Day 68!!

Day 68-I want candy!! Well isn't that the truth!!! I love chocolate especially with nuts. I feel nuts after this week!! Its been a whirlwind and I'm so tired that I can barely type. Are you getting sick of me yet? I think I am making up for lost time. This is a silly card as we had to use candy on it or a candy stamp or sticker. Heck what do I know? I am new at this card challenge business but its in my blood and its fun but rather addicting. I need to recruit a few peeps!!

Do you have questions on this card? It didn't scan too well as its thick and lumpy. I used 6 different stamps, bling and ribbon. I put on the BLISS candies with double-stick tape. I had to try both kinds. Yum!

The rhinestone stickers are from Memory Box and the flowers are from Kaiser.

Good nite. I am still behind with my class samples. Tami

Think Pink!! 365 Cards....Day 67 Challenge!!

Please excuse me. I got so excited to get this card finished and I forgot to upload it. I hope you likey. Make sure you read my previous posts for today.

Card challenge for Mother's Day!!...Day 65

This is my first post for Day 65-Mother's Day Card on 365 Cards Blog. I just found out about this awesome blog from my friend Sherry Button Junkie and I just had to beat her to the punch today. I think she will be shocked to see I actually participated when she gets up.

My card is 5.5" square and I used Basic Grey paper and coral chalk ink for edging. I stamped the Happy Mother's Day sentiment in a pretty green Momento ink. There are also green rhinestones from Memory Box below the sentiment. I used the St. Up corner punch and I pricked little holes in the larger corner punch out located on the upper left corner with a paper piercer on top of a foam pad. I used a Prima flower, a fancy pink flower cut from Maya Arts ribbon from Archiver's and I used Stickles on the middle of the flower. The three tiny butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch and I popped their wings up. Then I painted Stickles (glitter glue on them with a small paintbrush-no mess). Thanks for stopping by. I am SO excited about this *new* 365 Cards blog. Sherry my friend, I will see you at Archiver's later on today but for now I must get some beauty rest. Its wicked late right now and I can't sleep again. Tami...nightie night!!
